Homestead Riding Club
STARS Qualification
We are very lucky to have gained affiliation as a club, to send members to the STARS Champion of Champions final, to be held at Aintree in October.
STARS was set up to provide Riding Club members a chance to experience a HOYS like atmosphere, with finals and the opportunity as the champion to take that spotlight on the centre line.

To be able to affiliate to STARS, Homestead Riding Club had to go through a selection process, as the number of clubs able to send riders to the final is limited, to ensure a great experience for all. We were vetted on the type of classes we offer, and well as on the ethos of the club that we run.

61 clubs across the North were elected to be able to hold qualifiers. Homestead is proud to be one of them.
HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR STARS WITH HOMESTEAD RC?

To be eligible to try and qualify for STARS with Homestead RC, you MUST be a member of Homestead RC.
Points are accured at each show and each class during the May to September shows (Please note the October show is NOT a qualifier for STARS)
The combination which is deemed the overall winner on the completion of the 5th show date, ie Riding Club Type, will be offered the chance to go forward and represent the club at STARS at the final, if the combination is not able to compete or represent the club, then this will be offered to the reserve champion of that section. The offer can pass no lower than the 1st reserve.
